COVID-19 Guidelines

The swimming venues we use all have different guidelines relating to COVID-19.
Please take the time to read the information below and familiarise yourself with the pool that you use.

ALL VENUES

Social distancing of 1m (where possible 2m),
Wash/sanitise hands regularly,
Adults to wear masks in changing rooms,
Adults must arrive ready to swim,
No spectators on poolside,
No using showers,
Wipe down the area of changing baby/toddler before and after use,
There will be contact between swimmers when necessary,
Visors will be worn by teachers when necessary.

Additional requirements by venue;

Malvern College Sports
Only 4 people in changing room at one time.

New College Worcester
One way system in place with swimmers coming in through the main door and out through the fire exit.
Please take shoes of by fire door.
All belongings must be taken to the top of the pool (away from fire exit)
No changing room facilities at all.
Toilet will only be open for emergencies and sanitisation must take place before entering and leaving toilet. Also toilet seat must be placed down before flushing.

Wyre Forest School
Take shoes off outside pool
Entry and exit through main reception,
No pushchairs,
Only 4 people in changing room at one time,
Only 1 person in toilets at one time.

Solihull
Take shoes off outside pool
No pushchairs on pool side (car seats allowed)
Entry and exit through main reception,
No pushchairs,
Only 4 people in changing room at one time,
Only 1 person in toilets at one time,
No showers.

Whitehouse Hotel
Entry via gym door,
Exit through the gym and main reception,
Follow signs/directions on the floor to maintain social distancing,
Use lockers provided,
No pushchairs (carseats allowed)
Only 4 people in changing room at one time,
Only 1 person in toilets at one time.

Kings hawford school
Take outdoor foot wear off or wear shoe covers provided,
No pushchairs,
Adults adviced to wear masks in side room,
Children must arrive ready to swim and go home with towel or onesie over them,
There will be contact between swimmers when necessary,
There will be one designated parent on poolside per lesson,
Parents must wait in side room incase their child needs toilet ect,
On warm days the windows will be open to allow good ventilation.

Abberley Hall School
Entry via fire door (far side),
Exit via changing rooms,
No shoes on poolside,
No pushchairs on poolside (carseats only)
No use of showers,
Social distancing of 1m (where possible 2m),
Wash/sanitise hands regularly,
Adults to wear masks in changing rooms,
Adults must arrive ready to swim,
After school children (Sunday) must arrive ready to swim,
After school swimmers must wear a swim cap and bring your own floats,
Babies are to change in changing rooms,
Wipe area used,
No spectators on poolside,
There will be contact between swimmers when necessary,
Visors will be worn by teachers when necessary,
Speed 5mph on school ground.
